An ordinary neighborhood director pits wits and will against an organization that runs an elaborate pyramid scheme. Xia Hui Lan is a righteous woman who likes to get into other people's business. As the police come up empty-handed, Xia Hui Lan decides to infiltrate the organization herself to gather evidence. Assistant Chief Inspector Wang Da De and other individuals work with her inside and out to bring out the mastermind. However, Xia Hui Lan is in for a surprise when a distant past resurfaces. City councilor Yang turns out to be an old lover and her missing sons turn into enemies.
