With skis and a very heavy sled, they cover a route of 160 km from Kangerlussuaq to Sissimut, an unspoilt and desolate area in very difficult conditions, in freezing cold conditions of up to -40°. The Voice Kids is a Belgian music talent show for aspiring singers aged 8 to 14, based on the concept of the show The Voice van Vlaanderen. The first broadcast took place on 5 September 2014 on VTM. The first season was won by Mentissa Aziza, the second by Jens Dolleslagers, the third by Katarina Pohlodkova, and the fourth by Jade De Rijcke. A fifth season is expected to premiere in late 2020 after a one-year break.

It kicked-off on November 25, 2011 on VTM, shortly before the francophone Belgian variant The Voice Belgique went on air. A second season of The Voice van Vlaanderen for the 2012-13 season has started. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner.
