Fuhrmann's colleague Dr. Wehninger has abducted her deceased father from the pathology department to her home in order to prevent an autopsy, and it is only with great difficulty that Fuhrmann manages to persuade her to turn back. But it's not that easy to get to the hospital with a dead body without being recognized. Fuhrmann himself remains stubbornly confrontational, especially when it comes to Dr. Böck, and even more so since it turns out that Böck and Fuhrmann's ex-wife are expecting a child together. Assistant Dr. Winkler encounters unexpected difficulties when he discovers that the prosector's assistant and the mortician are engaged in a lively trade in corneas from deceased patients. Schmidt then moved his show to Das Erste as Harald Schmidt and Schmidt & Pocher, but he returned to Sat.1 on 13 September 2011. After cancellation on Sat.1, the show continued on Sky Deutschland in September 2012.

After World War I, political divisions deepen in a village in Upper Bavaria. Julius Kraus, a reclusive cobbler, finds himself caught between the fronts when his Jewish identity is revealed.
