Stef Foster, a dedicated police officer, and her partner Lena Adams, a school vice principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef's biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon, and their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus. Their lives are disrupted in unexpected ways when Lena meets Callie, a hardened teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in and out of foster homes. The show premiered on September 6, 2005 and ended on September 16, 2011 on Nickelodeon. It also aired as part of the Nick Jr. on CBS block from September 17, 2005 to September 9, 2006. On December 20, 2006, Nick Jr. announced that it had ordered twenty new episodes that were in production. Since April 2008, the show has been dubbed into Spanish and airs in the United States on Univision as part of their Planeta U block.

It replaces the Disney Channel Games and premiered on June 24, 2011 on Disney Channel. The games did not continue into 2012 and 2013 for unknown reasons.

Happy Monster Band is an interstitial program that airs on Playhouse Disney, and is produced by Kickstart Productions. The series was created by Don Carter. The show is about a group of monsters that performs songs about friendship, love, exercising, chores, and other preschool related themes. Season 2 follows the Happy Monsters on their tour around the world. On March 23, 2012, when Disney Junior started its own channel, the show returned to airing with only reruns.

The Teen Choice Awards is a teen awards show presented annually by Fox. The first awards were held in 1999. The program honors the year's biggest achievements in music, movies, sports, television, fashion and more, as voted on by teens aged 13–19. The program features a number of celebrities and also musical performers. The winners are awarded with authentic mini size (182 cm) surfboards designed with a summertime theme. The ceremony has created spin-off teen awards on YouTube.

Studio DC: Almost Live is a special for the Disney Channel. The special is a half-hour variety show that features both The Muppets and Disney Channel stars performing comedy sketches and musical numbers together. The style is similar to that of The Muppet Show in that it features mayhem occurring on the Disney Channel Studio sets in place of the Muppet Theater. A second special aired October 5, 2008 with Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Jake T. Austin, Jason Earles, Jason Dolley, Moises Arias, David Henrie and The Cheetah Girls guest starring. At the D23 Expo, it was announced that both specials will be released on DVD sometime in 2010. Its only DVD releases so far have been in the UK, in Germany and in Argentina.
