Angel, hailed as 'the devil’s successor', is an apprentice of legendary lawyer Shek Kei. The invincible pair are often hired by upper-class individuals. They do whatever it takes to win a case. Busy with work, Angel and her lawyer husband Manson become estranged. The couple decide to get divorced and fight over the custody of their son, Lucas. To improve her image, hence her chances of getting custody of Lucas, Angel accepts a legal aid case. Her job is to defend Lisa, a single mother who is accused of manslaughter. To her dismay, Angel is going up against the legendary Shek in this case. All eyes are on this battle between a master and her apprentice.

The ruthless Fong Chi-Lik suffers from congestive heart failure, and was fortunate to have the recently died Yiu Yat-San donate his heart to him. After going through heart transplant surgery, Chi-Lik's personality changes drastically; Chi-Lik turns into a good man with a caring attitude. But when Chi-Lik discovers Yat-San's "accidental" death involved him and his wife, he gets lost between love and righteousness, good and evil. Meanwhile, Yat-San's twin brother Yiu Yuet-San returns to Hong Kong to prepare for his brother's funeral and falls in love with his brother's girlfriend Yuen Siu-Kat. During the late reign of the Qing dynasty skilled physician To Chung is named the new Imperial Palace Physician when he successfully heals Empress Dowager Chee Hei from her illness. To Chung eventually grows close to the Gwong-seoi Emperor who is under house arrest at the Forbidden City and stripped of his powers after angering Dowager Chee Hei due to losing the First Sino-Japanese War and rebelling against her authority. To Chung also heals Gwong-seoi Emperor from his illness and helps the young emperor with his relationship with Consort Tsan. However how great he is as a physician to the imperial family, To Chung cannot heal his crippled wife Hung Bak-hap. Desperate to heal his wife he seeks out the services of bone-setter Fuk Ling. Fuk Ling's treatments help Bak-hap relieve some of her pain. Impress by Fuk Ling, To Chung refers her to the Forbidden City where she becomes Empress Dowager Chee-hei personal bone-setter. To Chung and Fuk Ling's friendship eventually turns romantic but his loyalty to his wife Bak-hap prevents him from further pursuing his romance interest in Fuk Ling. Fuk Ling, however, has ulterior motives for getting close to the imperial family as she has been tasked to kill the Gwong-seoi Emperor.

A previously successful entrepreneur, Mak Tai Song searches for his mentor's wife, Sheh Mo Lin and helps pay off her debt because he feels guilty for his mentor's death. Meanwhile, Tong Kat pleads Mak Tai Song to mentor him, hoping to accomplish something for his father's billionaire company. Song ends up mentoring Tong Kat on a part-time basis and take shelves of good wine as payments. Song then gets chased down on making payments for She Mo Lin's debt by Lam Miu Miu, the debt collection agent. The conflicting personalities of Lam Miu Miu, a wild spender and Mak Tai Song, a free-loader, causes many laughing moments, and finally both fall in love with each other. When Lam Miu Miu thinks things are finally turning out the way she wants, she gets confused by Song's sudden changes and evil-tactics against Ngon Jo Lin, Song's half-brother. Perhaps Song's long-lost childhood will change him entirely and make him more distant to Lam Miu Miu.

Foodie 2 Shoes is a Hong Kong broadcasting variety game show. It debuted in August 2007 until October 2007, broadcast from Tuesday to Friday. It consist of 34 episodes and a special ending episode. Foodie 2 Shoes is a joint collaboration between Taiwan and Hong Kong. The two hosts are Taiwan's popular singer/composer Harlem Yu and Hong Kong's actor/singer Patrick Tang. Along with the two hosts are eight lady helpers each representing a type of fruit or drinks known as Angels of Taste. Because of the difference in the host's background and native language, they both would attempt to speak each other's language, creating an entertaining atmosphere for the audience. In the beginning of each episode, Harlem would attempt to speak a Cantonese phrase or Patrick attempting a Taiwanese phrase, making the audience laugh and guessing what they are saying...
