Pham Van Ninh, a foreign doctor working illegally in Taiwan, joins forces with neurosurgeon Cheng Wan-ping to save patients after a gas explosion. However, their actions draw them into a medical controversy, forcing them to flee. As they are hunted by both legal and criminal forces, what starts as a clash between them turns into cooperation. Our story begins with Junior Detective LIN, who has just been put in charge of a case that appears to be a suicide. Most curiously, the crime scene has many features in common with a scene from a Sherlock Holmes novel. Detective Lin quickly discovers that it is a murder case. Meanwhile, a group of young sleuths supports their detective club president GAO’s dream to win a writing contest. The three club members, psychologist ZHONG, social worker WEN, and pharmacist ZHANG, each harbor a hidden secret. GAO could never have expected that he would become implicated as the killer in an actual murder case! As Detective LIN delves deeper into his case, a series of seemingly unrelated events all end up pointing towards the club members.

As a YouTuber, he puts forth a bright façade. Zhou Yong Qing works as a manager in the creditor’s rights branch at a bank. She is devoted to her work and often works overtime. She also has a side job as a food delivery worker on holidays. In order to buy a house for her mom, she devotes every moment to work, giving up any chance at leisure or relaxation. Ah Liang is very kind-hearted. He struggled to make a living for years but finally started his own business, got married and had children. It seems like his life is going smoothly until he makes the sudden decision to end his own life, leaving his family and friends perplexed. Da Qi, Yong Qing, and Ah Liang were good friends in high school. They agreed to achieve their own goals once they grew up, but they never expected their next meeting to be at Ah Liang’s funeral.
