What would possess a young woman to move to the other side of the world? Ni Shu Lei grows up in the United States after losing both her parents. When she sees track star Shan Han Fei on television, she falls instantly in love with him and is encouraged in her own life by his success. But when Han Fei leaves the sport after suffering an injury, Shu Lei is so dismayed that she is determined to go find him and encourage him to return to the sport. She moves to China and enrolls in Han Fei’s all-boys college and is assigned to be Han Fei’s roommate. Forced to live as a man to attend the school, Shu Lei faces tricky situations every day. JIANG has just begun his career as an after-school tutor. He has a great sense of humor in teaching but suffers from intimacy issues due to the influence of his parents who endure lifelong mental illnesses. Failing to obtain commitment, JIANG’s girlfriend Lan decides to run away from JIANG and works as an elementary school teacher in a remote village. In order to reconnect with Lan, JIANG applies for an internship at a school there as well. Eventually, JIANG not only rekindles the spark with Lan, his passion for education is also reignited. It was produced by Comic International Productions and directed by Mingtai Wang. The drama started filming on 30 October 2007 and wrapped on 21 March 2008. It was filmed on location in Jinshan, Taipei, Taiwan. It was first broadcast in Taiwan on free-to-air China Television from 4 May 2008 to 7 July 2008, every Sunday at 22:00 to 23:30 and cable TV Gala Television Variety Show/CH 28 from 10 May 2008 to 26 July 2008, every Saturday at 21:00 to 22:30.

Tokyo Juliet is a 2006 Taiwanese drama starring Ariel Lin, Wu Chun of Fahrenheit and Simon Yam. It is based on Japanese manga series Tokyo Juliet, 東京ジュリエット, written by Miyuki Kitagawa. It was produced by Comic Productions and directed by Mingtai Wang. It was broadcast on cable TV Gala Television Variety Show/CH 28 on 3 June 2006 to 23 September 2006. At the time the drama was filmed, Wu Chun was a relatively new actor and spoke unsatisfactory Mandarin, so producers had his voice dubbed over by Julian Yang.
