Henry and Anne: The Lovers Who Changed History (2014)
Historian Dr Suzannah Lipscomb unfolds the extraordinary story of the tumultuous love affair between Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, and asks: was it really love that brought them together – and was it love that tore them apart? Suzannah's journey will take her from Anne's childhood home at Hever Castle in Kent to the French palace where, some say, she learned the art of love. She will also visit Hampton Court, where Henry built the Great Hall for his new queen, and the Tower of London, where he had her beheaded.

The 1970s: That Was The Decade That Was (2006)
This is Channel Five's five part documentary from 2006 about the much maligned 1970's. Commercial nostalgia has transformed the 1970's into the ABBA-decade, old-timers from the "revolutionary" 1960's decry the 70's as the backlash decade when all good dreams turned sour and everything went to hell, and most others have a giggle at spandex, platform, shoes and other silly 70's fashion. Ah, there was punk, too, conflated into a few Six Pistol songs... But as this documentary shows, the 1970's, truly, had been much more amazing, diverse, innovative alive and ugly than many of us who've been there seem to remember and many of us who came along later seem to realize. Time for a re-evaluation?

Wills Banged Up Abroad
British documentary/docudrama television series created by Bart Layton that was produced for Channel 5 and that premiered in March 2006. Most episodes feature stories of people who have been arrested while travelling abroad, usually for trying to smuggle illegal drugs, although some episodes feature people who were either kidnapped or captured while they were either travelling or living in other countries. Some episodes have featured real-life stories that first became well known when they were made the subject of a film: films that have been "re-made" in this way include Midnight Express, Goodfellas, The Devil's Double, Argo, Mr Nice, and, to a lesser extent (with the story of Frank Cullotta), Casino.
