Kath & Kim is a character-driven Australian television situation comedy series. The series was created by, and is written by Jane Turner and Gina Riley who play the title characters: a suburban mother and daughter with a dysfunctional relationship. The series main characters consist of Kath Day-Knight, a cheerful 50-year-old woman, her self-indulgent daughter Kim Craig, Kath's boyfriend and second husband, the metrosexual Kel Knight, as well as Kim's estranged husband Brett Craig and her lonely, overweight "second best friend" Sharon Strzelecki. The series is set in the fictional suburb of Fountain Lakes in Melbourne. It is primarily filmed in Patterson Lakes. The series was conceived by Turner and Riley in the early 1990s as a weekly segment of the Australian comedy series Fast Forward. The skit was then developed into a full-series. The first series of Kath & Kim premiered on ABC TV on 16 May 2002, with three further series following, while a television movie, entitled Da Kath and Kim Code, was broadcast nationally on 25 November 2005. Kath & Kim has garnered much critical acclaim since its debut, winning two Logie Awards, for "Outstanding Comedy Programme" and the "Best Television Drama Series" award at the Australian Film Institute Awards. In Australia, it has become a pop culture phenomenon, and is a success with audiences nationwide. Internationally, the series has spawned a cult fanbase, and in 2006 it was announced an American version of the series would be produced, to air on NBC. Riley and Turner served as executive producers on the US version. The American version was also picked up by Seven, which debuted the program on 12 October 2008, just three days after its debut in the United States.

Packed to the Rafters is an Australian family-oriented television series which premiered on the Seven Network on Tuesday 26 August 2008 at 8:30 pm. The show has continued on Tuesdays in this timeslot for its entire run. The drama series features a mix of lighthearted comedy woven through the plot. It revolves around the Rafter family facing work pressures and life issues, whilst also tackling serious social issues. The Logie award winning series was the highest rating to screen on the Seven Network in 2008, and the show has consistently been among the top 5 shows of the year throughout its run in Australia. It was announced in TV Week that the sixth season of Packed to the Rafters would be the last, with Hugh Sheridan stating: "It's emotional letting go of Rafters – for all of us. It was such an amazing chapter in Aussie TV. I'm really proud we all came back together to send it off." The two-hour series finale of Rafters aired on 2 July 2013, which saw the return of Hugh Sheridan, Jessica Marais, Ryan Corr, Jessica McNamee and James Stewart. Rebecca Gibney said, "The cast, writers and producers have always said that we wanted to keep Rafters as one of the most-watched shows on TV. If we ever felt like we were losing too many cast members, we needed to end it on a high. We can say season six winds up an aspect of the Rafter family and there is a sense of finality to it."

The complete series is now available on DVD in Australia, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands in PAL format. It is also available in North American format.

Man O Man was an Australian television game show that was broadcast of the Seven Network in 1994. Hosted by stage actor Rob Guest and Jason Body, the program was based on the original German version of the same name. The program was presented loosely in the format of a male beauty pageant whereby an all-female audience voted for the winner via a series of elimination rounds. Notably, losing contestants would be pushed into a swimming pool. The final episode of Man O Man, which aired on 25 November 1994, was a Footballers Challenge special that featured players from Australian rules football, rugby league and Soccer. The episode was more risqué than usual, with some footballers performing a striptease for the talent act round. Man O Man returned briefly to the Seven Network on 26 January 1997 when the first episode was repeated as part of the network's Coca-Cola Interactive Summer Night promotion...however, the show has not been repeated since. Man O Man was filmed at the Seven Network Melbourne studios located in South Melbourne. Currently, the studio which was used for the show is currently utilised as the Dancing with the Stars dance floor set.

Police Files: Unlocked is an Australian television program that aired on the Seven Network, showcasing police videos from around the world in similar vein to World's Wildest Police Videos. The first two seasons of the program were hosted by former Blue Heelers star Ditch Davey. Repeats of the show and the third season features the narration of David Field, who also had a recurring guest role in Blue Heelers. Unlike Davey, Field did not appear on camera. The program looks at police operations from Australia and around the world, featuring footage of high speed police pursuits, police stings and surveillance operations. At the end of each story, a summary of consequences the offender faces for their crime is revealed, and occasionally what the action would be if the offender was caught in Australia. The program claims that the vision is from actual police tapes. The first season finale of Police Files: Unlocked was broadcast on 29 November 2006 in a one hour special episode. A second season aired in 2007, and a third season began airing in March 2008. It was axed in 2008.

Undercover Angels was a 2002 Australian television series produced by the Seven Network which imitated the American Charlie's Angels series. It featured multiple Olympic and World champion swimmer Ian Thorpe, who acted as the mentor to three women who performed good deeds for people in need. The show was first shown on 12 May, and was the fifth most watched television show in that week in Australia. Overall, it averaged 1.3 million viewers in its run of eleven episodes. The three "angels" travelled in Alfa Romeos performing deeds such as decorating a nursery for a young couple with newborn children, and finding a replacement puppy for children whose dog had been stolen. It was widely panned by media critics, with the Sydney Morning Herald television critic Ruth Ritchie declaring it "the worst show in the history of the world". Thorpe, however, did not mind the criticism, pointing to the fact that he was satisfied that the show was in the minority of reality shows in which good behaviour was rewarded.

The Rich List is an Australian game show which is based on the format initially created for transmission in the United Kingdom created by 12 Yard. The game consists of two teams who name as many items relating to a topic as they can while competing against each other for a no-limit cash prize. For its first season, it was shown on Monday nights at 7:30 pm on the Seven Network but initially moved to Saturday nights in the same timeslot for the second season, before being put on hiatus and returning to its original season-one timeslot. The show premiered in its regular Monday timeslot on 29 January 2007 at 7:30 pm and continued with a special episode on 30 January to give people a chance to watch the show who opted to watch Steve Irwin's last documentary Ocean's Deadliest which went up against The Rich List on Monday the 29th on the rival station, the Nine Network. The show is recorded at the Melbourne Central City Studios. This version follows the basic rules of other versions of the show. The program is hosted by the Deal or No Deal host Andrew O'Keefe. The pilot episode was taped on 18 October 2006. The show began taping episodes for air on 11 December 2006 and auditions for contestants for the show continue.

Denton was an hour-long late night live interview program hosted by the eponymous Andrew Denton. It aired on the Seven Network in Australia between 1994 and 1995. Regular guests included Amanda Keller and Bobcat Goldthwaite. Andrew won the 'Most Popular Comedy Personality' Logie Award in 1996, for his role in Denton.
