3500 Italian women and men thousand kilometers away from home. Some of theme have arrived a few weeks ago, some of theme have been there for months and they're going home. They are the Afghanistan mission's Italian soldiers. Fabio Caressa lived two weeks with many of them in the Herat base (Italian Headquarters in Afghanistan) and other Forward Operative Bases (FOB).The result of this project is very different from the classic «embedded» reportage and it's more similar to a unique and extraordinarily intense experience.
