Released in Tv movie format, this miniseries begins when Don Rodrigo de Arista, a noble Asturian nobleman returns from America, more specifically from Peru. Its economic situation is precarious and it is in ruins; added to his old age, his noble heart and his spirit never left him, and it is difficult apart from the gift of control of his daring character. In the film Don Rodrigo discovers that one of his two granddaughters is an illegitimate daughter, product of love between his daughter-in-law and an artist. Although she lives with her grandchildren and maintains a good relationship with them, she is intrigued by the doubt of not knowing with full certainty of them, it is not her truth and true heir of her title and house. In his desire that his daughter-in-law be the object of things is the real one, he will have even more conflicts with her, since, preferring to lose his life, he will take the secret to the grave as long as he does not want it, want both equally and without preference for that situation.
