Will (2017)
The wild story of young William Shakespeare's arrival onto the punk-rock theater scene in 16th century London -- the seductive, violent world where his raw talent faced rioting audiences, religious fanatics and raucous side-shows. It's a contemporary version of Shakespeare's life, played to a modern soundtrack that exposes all his recklessness, lustful temptations and brilliance.

The Bretts (1987)
Chronicling the fortunes of four generations of a London theatrical family through the 1920s and '30s, The Bretts ran for two memorably successful series during the late 1980s. An Upstairs Downstairs of the theatrical set, it stars Norman Rodway as the effusive, charismatic Charles Brett and Barbara Murray as his strong-willed wife Lydia. With scripts from veteran screenwriters Rosemary Ann Sisson, Bill Craig, Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, this set features both acclaimed series. It's 1927, and thespians Charles and Lydia Brett are at the peak of their careers. Intending to capitalise on their success by acquiring their own theatre, will this bid for creative freedom ensure their family's theatrical legacy?

In Search of Shakespeare (2003)
Complete four part series exploring the life of the world's greatest and most famous writer. Presenter-led, mixing travel, adventure, live action interviews and specially shot documentary and live action sequences with the RSC on the road. A history series - it focuses not on the plays, but on the history and sets the life of the poet in the extraordinary times in which he lived. We are introduced to the dark world of Queen Elizabeth's police state - a time of surveillance, militarism and foreign wars. We are reminded that Shakespeare lived through the Spanish Armada, the Gunpowder Plot, the colonisation of the New World and the beginnings of British power in America. But most importantly Shakespeare also lived through England’s Cultural Revolution: an enforced split with the old medieval English spirit world which was to lead the English people into a brave new Protestant future.

Nickolas Grace gives a fabulous interpretation in the title role and he even bears a remarkable resemblance to Lorca.
