The show began airing on ITV on 15 January 2010 at 9pm. The show is repeated on TV3 Ireland on Saturday evening. The programme is produced by Renegade Pictures. Live from the Met (1977)
Live from the Metropolitan Opera is an American television program that presented performances of complete operas from the Metropolitan Opera, New York City, on the Public Broadcasting Service television network. The program began in 1977, and was telecast live for its first few seasons. The first telecast, La Bohème, featured Luciano Pavarotti as Rodolfo and Renata Scotto as Mimi, with James Levine conducting; all three were interviewed during the intermission. In 1988, the program title was changed to The Metropolitan Opera Presents, to reflect the fact that the performances were now taped prior to broadcast. Live from the Met functioned as a supplement to the regular Saturday Metropolitan Opera radio broadcasts. During its first fifteen years, the program was frequently simulcast, enabling some audiences to hear the opera in stereo via radio as well.

Moving Wallpaper (2008)
Moving Wallpaper is a British satirical comedy-drama television series set in a TV production unit. It ran on ITV for two series in 2008–2009. The subject of the first series was the production of a soap called Echo Beach, each episode of which aired directly after the Moving Wallpaper episode about its production. The second series was based around the production of a "zombie show" called Renaissance. Ben Miller confirmed in May 2009 on his Twitter account that no further series will be made. The title, "Moving Wallpaper", is a disparaging term applied to uninspiring TV shows, or to television in general, referring to the perception that modern television viewers are "mindless absorbers of images", as if staring at wallpaper.

Hotel Story
Hotel Story was an Australian television series made by Crawford Productions for the Ten Network in 1977. The series, intended as a replacement for The Box, was set in a luxury international hotel. The regular characters were the hotel workers and in each one-hour episode they hosted a new batch of glamorous guest-star hotel guests, and rather like a drama version of The Love Boat stories would focus on both the self-contained dramas of the passing guests and the on-going problems of the hotel staff. The regular cast was headed by Terence Donovan as the hotel manager, and also included Carmen Duncan, George Spartels, and American actor Richard Lawson. The title sequence was shot on film at the then Old Melbourne Inn on Flemington Road, North Melbourne. This distinctive looking hotel building is now an accommodation hostel owned by RMIT University. Interior sequences were largely shot on video at Channel Ten's Nunawading studios, giving the series a soap opera look. Hotel Story was cancelled before it even went to air. Originally planned to run for at least 26 episodes, the series was cancelled after only seven episodes had been produced, and before any had been broadcast. The first four episodes were later screened over two nights and the network elicited audience feedback asking whether the show should continue. There was some positive feedback and while it was too late for Hotel Story itself, the concept was later revived for the series Holiday Island.
