Summer 1944. Walter Proska is about to return to the Eastern Front when his train is blown up by partisans. The series of Janusz Morgenstern tells about the Polish resistance movement against Nazi occupiers, the youth of the war, her everyday life and struggle. The heroes are 20-year-old boys, suddenly involved in the dramatic history of the nation and forced to make difficult, often tragic decisions. However, it turns into organized and carefully planned diversionary activity.
