Norwegian-Italian Roland Marco (Kai Remlov) is a 32-year-old professor of communication & sociology at the University of Florence. Marco is doing academic work on sun symbols. He believes that our symbolic world can have an impact on human behavior. When he arrives at a research congress in Oslo, a mysterious death happens which turns out to be murder. Marco gets a special case to work on. He comes to Congress wearing a family heirloom, a signet ring with a sun symbol on it. His father suggests that the ring has dangerous powers.
