Shri Krishna (1993)
Krishna is an Indian television series created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar. The series originally aired weekly on Doordarshan. It is an adaptation of the stories of the life of Krishna. Shri Krishna was first broadcast on Doordarshan's Metro Channel from 1993.In 1996, the DD Metro broadcast was discontinued and the show was broadcast from the beginning on DD National. In 1999, the show moved to Zee where the remaining episodes were broadcast. The entire series was re-telecast on Sony starting 2001 and later on Star. This serial was also telecasted in Mauritius – Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation as early as 1991, Toronto- Channel 57, Nepal –Nepal TV, South Africa- M.Net, Indonesia- P.T. Ramayan, based on Valmiki's Ramayan and Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas, as well as Chakbasta's Urdu Ramayan, is an Indian television series produced by Sagar Arts which aired on NDTV Imagine. It is also partly derived from portions of Kambar's Kambaramayanam, Bhavarth Ramayan, Krittivasi Ramayan by Krittibas Ojha, Shree Rangnath Ramayana by Gona Budda Reddy, Ramchandra Charit Puranam by Abhinavpamp Nagchandra, Adhyatama Ramayanam by Tunjat Eluchan, Shree Anand Ramayan by Pt. Ramlagna Pandey. It is a remake of the highly successful Ramayan that was created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar and which aired on Doordarshan from 1987 to 1988. The show won the "Most Promising New Show of the Year" award at the Indiantelevision.com's New Talent Awards. In addition to this, Gurmeet Choudhary, who played the lead role of Lord Rama won the "Most Promising New Talent of Tomorrow" Award.

Jai Hanuman is a 1997 Indian Hindu TV series based on the life of the Hindu Deity , avatar of Lord Shiva Hanuman in Hindi language. It was directed by Sanjay Khan. The series was initially shown on the state-run DD Metro, and was later shown on Sony Entertainment Television in 2008. In the Treta era, various events occur, including the defeat of demons by Lord Vishnu, which leads to the birth of positive and negative forces. One of the negative forces-the rise of demon dictator Ravana-plunges the universe into terror. The birth of God becomes necessary to eliminate the terror of Ravana, leading to the birth of two of the most powerful and mutually attached gods: Shri Rama and Hanuman, sons of Ayodhya's King Dashrath and the ape-headed King Kesari respectively. As time passes, the two meet and become close friends.
