The Death of Yugoslavia (1995)
The Death of Yugoslavia is a BAFTA-award winning BBC documentary series first broadcast in 1995. It covers the collapse of the former Yugoslavia. It is notable in its combination of never-before-seen archive footage interspersed with interviews of most of the main players in the conflict, including Slobodan Milošević, the then President of Serbia. Norma Percy won the 1996 BAFTA TV Award for 'Best Factual Series' for the documentary. However, it has been argued that it presents a potentially slightly biased point-of-view; for instance during the trial of Milošević before the ICTY in The Hague, Judge Bonomy called the nature of much of the commentary "tendentious" (partisan).

It focuses on the 1970s, with its 'Taistoists' and its liturgies of friendship, as well as on the role played by Finnish Broadcasting Company and other media in the Finlandization process.

The Afghan Ghost (2008)
Andrey Potemkin-a future Lieutenant of the border guard service on the eve of graduation from school, reads an essay in a popular newspaper called "Afghan ghosts". When he recognizes his father in the photo, he is deeply perplexed. His mother, Galina Potemkina, and a family friend, Anatoly Fetyukhin, had instilled in him from childhood that Andrey's father, Yuri Potemkin, had died heroically in Afghanistan. But the author of the article, Alyona Nikitina, accuses the captain of the Soviet army of treachery. And as proof, he cites a photo that shows captain Potemkin with a machine gun in his hands and surrounded by friendly Mujahideen, at whose feet are captured Soviet soldiers. Andrey, for whom a military career is everything in life, and who was brought up, uses his father's example to conduct his own investigation and prove the unfairness of the charges.
