A number of past and present NHL hockey players have made appearances or been showcased in the series including Jordin Tootoo, Jason King, Wade Redden, Eric Staal, David Ling, Duane Sutter, Éric Bélanger, Terry Ryan, Tyler Arnason and Eric Chouinard.
