Sapphire & Steel (1979)
Sapphire & Steel is a British television science-fiction fantasy series starring David McCallum as Steel and Joanna Lumley as Sapphire. Produced by ATV, it ran from 1979 to 1982 on the ITV network. The series was created by Peter J. Hammond who conceived the programme under the working title The Time Menders, after a stay in an allegedly haunted castle. Hammond also wrote all the stories except for the fifth, which was co-written by Don Houghton and Anthony Read. None of the stories had onscreen titles, or any official titles assigned by the writers. The Region 1 Complete Series DVD release gives the titles "Escape Through a Crack in Time", "The Railway Station", "The Creature's Revenge", "The Man Without a Face", "Dr. McDee Must Die" and "The Trap", respectively. These titles have often been cited as having been created by science fiction magazine Time Screen.

Moon and Son (1992)
Astrologer Gladys Moon and her psychic son, Trevor, travel between Folkestone and Calais, conducting readings, selling occult wares and getting involved in various crimes and mysteries. Despite reports that the BBC had already commissioned a second series prior to the first series' broadcast, only thirteen episodes were produced and it was swiftly axed due to poor ratings, despite a primetime Saturday evening timeslot.

Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead (2006)
Her spiky hair and outgoing manner may make her look more like a top 40 vocalist than a clairvoyant, but vivacious Lisa Williams has known since childhood that she is able to communicate with the dead, a gift that has garnered her a long list of clients both in the United States and her native England. This hourlong series follows Williams -- whose grandmother, Frances Glazebrook, reportedly provided psychic services to the British royal family -- to various American locales as she meets with clients and also offers impromptu readings to strangers she meets on the street.
